Garden Of Growth

God planted a seed in the garden of earth;
one of rebellion and hell;
a consciousness, within heaven, had birth;
then, exiled to earth, to dwell.

The Master was saddened by man’s corruption;
God didn’t create love to die;
separation, by death; the unintended interruption;
man’s evil made God cry.

Then, the man created a garden of his own;
he deemed it a heaven on earth;
but, earth was not destined to be his home;
in death; all returned to their birth.

Earth was a garden; flowering with life;
an illusion the man sought to control;
the serpent planted weeds, fomenting strife;
intent on capturing man’s soul.

Earth’s garden became cluttered with weeds;
the serpent, himself, saw it was so;
planting division and hate in life’s seeds;
anticipating evil would grow.

A beautiful rose grew in the midst of the weeds;
promising eternal love as his oath;
for, this too was a garden to supply our needs;
this is God’s garden of growth.

The stem of the the rose, bore a thorn;
to remind that in growth there is pain;
life was painful; when first born;
death makes all loss become gain.
