Perfection Is A Season

Many think that perfection is a goal;
the ultimate plateau, to achieve;
but perfection is a season; life’s role;
when mankind learns to believe.

Perfection is never contained within;
it is strictly a gift from above;
it is not the state, where all begin;
but a Peace, granted by Love.

Perfection seems to come and go;
for Peace is disturbed by doubt;
Love’s energy, is an ebb and flow;
an energy, we can’t do without.

Perfection is not about achievement;
for it flows in, as pride goes out;
nor, is it accompanied by bereavement;
perfect faith; eliminates all doubt.

Doubt is the purveyer of hate and pride;
defeating faith and love; his roles;
whispering his doubts from deep inside;
he’s a serpent, seeking our souls.

Salvation is when God brings us home;
perfection is the season faith travels;
peace; is ability to remain all alone,
while the evils of hate unravel.

Perfection is also the time of day;
when faith has overtuned pride;
once Wisdom has gained his say;
all evil and hate will have died.
