Sometimes we obsess over the valley of death;
fear takes us on a neverending ride;
the thought of taking our very last breath,
makes us seek, a knowledgable guide.

How can a valley of death bring us peace;
is the King of Glory in sight?
The place, God promises sweet release;
is the kingdom of love and Light.

The toils and troubles of this flawed world,
will have all been long since passed;
and the love and beauty, then unfurled;
brings forth the peace that lasts.

Many are those who fear death’s valley;
fearing their lives will soon be over;
some even hope time will dilly-dally;
that they not be buried in clover.

We live in the shadow of the valley of death;
thinking that the end’s drawing near;
contemplating how much time we have left;
supplanting our faith, with our fear.

A few decide to enter it, by their own choice;
but, timing, is only, by the Master, decided;
for death only answers to the Master’s voice;
we’re to enter, only when we’re invited.

Death, is the energy portal, to Eden’s garden;
the Cherubim remain, guarding its gate;
tho the Master has already granted a pardon;
he still may require that we wait.
