Pathway To Righteousness
Each life is a journey in consciousness;
however we describe it to be;
many seek a pathway to righteousness;
those with wisdom to see.
Our being resides in God’s thought;
his reality is energy alone;
we are the love; the Master brought;
without love; there is no home
Upon this journey of our lifetime;
our memories are all we have;
our guilt makes life seem sublime;
death is the only salve.
Life isn’t a mountain, climbed for success;
It’s living our thoughts from above;
though we endure heartbreaks and duress;
God only cares that we love.
Many live lives of charity and good works;
their egos swelling with pride;
no matter; whether, millionaires or clerks;
they have little love inside.
Guilt is poison ivy; that’s growing inside;
you; becoming your own judge;
leaving those guilty; no place to hide;
and victims; a lasting grudge.
Forgiveness is the pathway to righteousness;
forgiving ourselves; and others as well;
unconditional love is the path to godliness;
unforgiveness; a journey to hell.
