Hello & Welcome to
The Cardboard Breadman

Life: Be Kind

I hereby direct this message to you;
more than anyone else on my mind;
for you, the presence of life, imbue;
and so I say, “Life, be kind.”

For you are the one I see every day;
in every facet of your being;
we interact in most every way;
reality,

Just Friends

It’s often said, “I just want to be friends;”
a conversation stopper, for sure.
It’s where a one sided love ends;
but such a friendship never endures.

Most seem to think that opposites attract;
that polarity will draw them together;
yet, many find, their opposites attack;
and feel

I Feel Love

At times when I’m lonely; wanting to cry;
virtually at the limit of what I can stand;
God most obligingly sends someone by;
someone, metaphorically, to hold my hand.

Not much is required to bring me down;
emotions, quite fragile, when alone;
sadness often can cause us to drown;

Let My Words Be Love

Let all of my words be Love;
an audible energy rainbow;
showered from the heavens above;
cascading, where needed to go.

May they carry the scent of a rose;
with the commoness of the grasses;
with all compassion propose;
raining love as each day passes.

May they spread the emotion

Knowledge

It is the fuel that runs the steam engine of thought;
the consciousness that said, “Let there be light!”
It is inhaled mentally;  not just taught;
Like the sun, it can make this world bright.

Its understanding and power bring on destruction;
wreaking havoc on all within sight;
and yet,

Journey Of The Mind

Like every journey, it began with thought;
nowhere else did it even exist;
creating for ourselves all things that ought;
from which all creations persist.

The term “journey” implies we travel;
but, where in our minds can we go;
reality’s truths begin to unravel;
when we realize that it

Learning To Love Again

I awakened with nothing upon my mind;
a breeze of emptiness ran thru my soul;
I felt so alone; the world, undefined;
I needed somehow to be made whole.

Being alone is life’s greatest sorrow;
causing inexpressible pain;
knowing it stretches deep into tomorrow;
threatening forever, to reign.

Thoughts,

Lessons

I’ve lived a thousand lives or more;
in every conceivable way;
dreams and books; and peace and war;
during both night and day.

Each life I lived; was a symphony;
and I became its conductor;
some lives were lived in infamy;
with God as my instructor.

For how could
