Hello & Welcome to

Today Is Forever

Today will last beyond forever;
a day that time stood still;
a perfect day for all endeavor;
what was; becoming what will.

Yesterday is never to be gone;
it will all return, someday;
actors from then will live on;
for the past must never decay.

The future, too; will be

Time

Today, though important, is just one day;
whatever it’s outcome, tomorrow will come;
yesterday’s failures, again come my way;
and, again, to temptation, I’ll succumb.

How can I continue to live in yesterday;
even though I know that it’s gone;

Words softly spoken; the prelude to Wisdom;
you need not lift up your voice;
much of our thoughts have devolved

And He Barked

I was lying across my bed, sleeping,
sunlight streaming into my room;
something caused me to start weeping;
a strange sound diminished my gloom.

Clearly, came the sound of a barking dog;
it was emanating from outside;
though I understand, my mind was a fog;
my memory of truth did

After The Party's Over

After this party called life is over;
where does this consciousness go?
Is it destined to be under the clover;
or, scattered across new fallen snow?

The body, like your hair that was cut;
is of no more use to you;
and, if someone scoops your body up;
what can
