Hello & Welcome to
The Cardboard Breadman

Broken

I feel like I’ve reached the end of the road;
there’s nothing else for me to write.
I’m still weighted down by a heavy load;
with no battles remaining to fight.

Slowly I’m trudging through each day;
my efforts have become merely token;
I’m seeking

A Life Of Fear

We all think of fear as an instinct;
an energy to protect us from harm;
allow me to be completely succinct;
fear is not a type of alarm.

Fear is the principle competing force;
the antonym of faith and love.
Fear is the power behind all divorce,
of a spouse,

Language Of The Soul

What language does the soul speak;
is it English, French, or Spanish?
Just thinking causes my interest to peak.
If the soul speaks a word; does it vanish?

How do souls manage to communicate;

Some of us serve the master called Pride;
its seems that we never have enough;
placing the interests of all others aside;
ignoring all critiques and

Reality's Tour

I’m on a majic carpet ride;
floating on a blanket of air;
taking me where thoughts decide;
my mind is taking me there.

My body is not really moving;
my mind is devoid of where;
reality, is not disapproving;
not even seeming to care.

I entered a realm; solely

Reality's Puzzle

Reality is the puzzle called life;
we each are one of its pieces;
definer of both peace and strife;
each has signed long leases.

We spend a lifetime, trying to fit in;
never seem to know where we are;
fearing the end before we begin;
it all seems a little
