Nighttime Travel
What really happens when we’re asleep;
lying in bed or sleeping in a chair?
Our conscious mind travels so deep;
without really walking anywhere.
Do dreams really emanate from our brain;
or does the soul travel elsewhere?
Perhaps, it would make more sense and explain;

It seemed, at least, two lifetimes ago;
I was a child in a family of five;
by comparison, life seemed to move slow;
now I’m the only one, still alive.

All seek a life; abiding in peace and tranquility;
a feat almost impossible to achieve;
consistently assaulted by anxiety’s futility;
with difficulty, we strive to believe.
The Master is waiting to hear our prayer;
our petty problems leave him undaunted;
still; he assures us that He’
A Cloud Of Destiny
I feel my life slowly drifting away;
the background scenery fading;
thoughts from within; bid me stay;
a purpose, I’ve been evading.
I feel as tho I’m a mist or a cloud;
gently floating into the night.

The Lesson of Goldilocks
I remember the story of Goldilocks;
very clearly she was nobody’s fool;
definitely she was as smart as a fox;
and yet lived by her very own rule.
She visited the home of Papa Bear,
on this one particular occasion.

We are all characters in the book of life;
our destiny forged by our energy;
sentenced to suffer conflicts and strife;
thru faith, sharing God’s synergy.
I’m just the wallpaper on the wall;

Death had secured his next assignment;
a person, scheduled to soon be gone;
followed him around; making assessment;
it was a man most willing to move on.
The man had not a trace of a desire to die;
tho he felt little reason to live;

A New Creation
Consciousness is an ocean of Thought;
it constantly ebbs and flows;
within it; all knowledge is taught;
everythng the Master knows.
Nothing exists outside of this ocean;
its length and width are infinity;
all within it are in constant motion;
for it is the garden of divinity.
