Life Is But A Dream

Life Is But A Dream

I slept very well last night;
at least, so it would seem;
nothing at all, came out right;
at least, it was only a dream.

Mind occupied; while, body slept;
but, how could I ever tell;
the body perspired; the eyes wept;
for the mind

Life Is A Parade

Life Is Just A Parade

The bands are marching by;
next, in line, a spectacular float;
one, after another, catch my eye;
a couple of hours of life, I devote.

It’s a pleasant way to spend time;
whiling away the afternoon;
it seems a waste; almost a crime;
besides,

Life's Garden

Life’s Garden

In the Master’s garden, he planted seeds;
seeking love, to flourish and blossom;
for the Master felt it’d fill all the needs;
to make his creation more awesome.

Advanced life forms; came from each seed;
emerging from a garden on holy ground;

Thoughts Of A Prodigal

Thoughts Of A Prodigal

or does the soul travel elsewhere?
Perhaps, it would make more sense and explain;
some gain

Multiplicity

Multiplicity

It seemed, at least, two lifetimes ago;
I was a child in a family of five;
by comparison, life seemed to move slow;
now I’m the only one, still alive.

By age 9; I had another sister and brother;
they each have their own family, now;
each of

Anxiety's Futility

Anxiety’s Futility

All seek a life; abiding in peace and tranquility;
a feat almost impossible to achieve;
consistently assaulted by anxiety’s futility;
with difficulty, we strive to believe.

The Master is waiting to hear our prayer;
our petty problems leave him undaunted;
still; he assures us that He’

A Cloud Of Destiny

A Cloud Of Destiny

I feel my life slowly drifting away;
the background scenery fading;
thoughts from within; bid me stay;
a purpose, I’ve been evading.

I feel as tho I’m a mist or a cloud;
gently floating into the night.
If you only knew, you’d laugh
