Flooded By Censorship
Slowly the Light of Truth has drowned;
our ship of state; slowly sinking;
there’s only slim hope; truth can be found;
our wise men all stopping thinking.
All freedom lovers must trim their sails;
our ship of state is in heavy seas;

Who Can I Blame ?
I’ve lived a life; littered with mistakes;
a wrong turn, both here and there;
but I’ve come to expect destiny’s breaks;
believing that no one will care.
How can I erase errant words or deeds;
all that’s been done in my name?

When I was young, it was very different;
most, believed in a supreme being;
as time passed; the world became dissident;

My mind experiences constant turbulance;
like a wet dog; lost in the rain;

The great conductor, in creation, is time;
conducting life’s ebb and flow;
a form of energy; an atom of the devine;

Everyone has a significant purpose;
for strangers that come our way;
we often conceal it, beneath the surface;

Sometimes, we say it all with a smile;

Wisdom is the most valuable energy;
