Man Versus God

Life wasn’t created to be a competition;
when its seed was planted above;
it was to be the great Artist’s commission;
creating lives out of love.

The serpent’s rebellion created competition;
and the essence of man joined in;
the serpent relied upon greed and ambition;
creating war between God and man.

A war of thoughts; became a war of light;
the serpent and man; both banished;
a holographic universe appeared in the night;
an illusion that must be vanquished.

On earth the creation of man was divided;
man and woman became separate souls;
divisions, between them were evil incited;
ignoring any of their traditional roles.

Man cast mention of God out of schools;
as though God had never existed;
then the serpent crafted his own rules;
with the help of the godly, enlisted.

Most honor and virtue became discarded;
truth was then considered an opinion;
ones with the most gold were highly regarded;
and earth became the devil’s dominion.

Absolute truth became regarded as quaint;
no common man could judge or assess;
corrupt churches, could name their own saint;
all, because, believers acquiesced.
