Life is a staged production;
staffed with an excellent cast;
performing; with no interruption;
not intended, forever, to last.
All life is dead men walking;
time gives dates for decay;
tho predators may be stalking;
they won’t disturb life’s play.
Destiny has written the script;
while eternity keeps the time;
within infinity, all will fit;
life’s theater, is reality sublime.
We each shall meet, who we must;
destiny conceals all his reasons;
for we don’t yet, deserve his trust;
that comes, in future seasons.
I worry about passage of time;
but time is never a factor;
living in his kingdom, sublime;
where time is our benefactor.
Life’s play often has many acts;
some are full of sorrow and pain;
others present evil’s attacks;
yet all of it counts as our gain.
When on stage; I fear to engage;
for my character courts disaster;
tho I dread when I leave life’s stage;
there’s a party to be held; right after.
