Life, Off The Cuff
Sometimes we say things without thinking;
making our comments seem quite rough;
comments that make it seem we’re drinking;
usually referred to, as off the cuff.
Often we pay so very little attention;
to the things that we do and say;
as tho thought’s in another dimension;
alive in another place or day.
Thoughts create all things that we do and say;
sometimes they contain nonsensical stuff;
still we continue to say; and do it; anyway;
living our lives; off the cuff.
Everything created; first becomes a thought;
the foundation for each word; or deed;
nothing becomes; without being brought;
even the flowers begin with a seed.
Often we put the cart before the horse;
living our lives in reverse;
illogical actions are foolish; of course;
the mind needs time to rehearse.
For every action there’s an opposite reaction;
only our thoughts can invent;
life can’t be lived; as though an abstraction;
it must have a will and intent.
In the beginning; God was very intensional;
his mind spoke his thoughts in the night;
creating a kingdom that was multidimensional;
God said: “Let there be light!”
