Levels Of Understanding
We all start out this life as a seed;
with knowledge hidden within;
we’ve been given all that we need;
while facing temptations of sin.
As a child; we don’t understand;
we’re just a bud on life’s tree;
searching for knowledge to expand;
enjoying fruits of our liberty.
Our life then blossomed into a leaf;
nourished by the living waters;
enduring life’s storms; without relief;
bearing sons and daughters.
Seasons portray, levels of understanding;
finding, much to be learned;
the Father of life was very demanding;
knowledge had to be earned.
Seasons of life; quickly come and go;
facing the darkest season of all;
for many seasons forced us to grow;
it was time to answer God’s call.
The greatest test was that all forgive;
as God forgive us, from above;
we must love all; in order to live;
the beauty, we see, is love.
In death, we fall gently to the ground;
suddenly we began to understand;
when surrounded by beauty, all around;
it was all, by the Master, planned.
