Judge Not
Through life; man seeks to imitate God;
tho we don’t even know who He is;
such thinking seems much more than odd;
for, He isn’t ours; we are His.
We arrogantly think that we understand;
simply by studying His precepts;
sincerely thinking it’s His command;
we only need follow His footsteps.
The physical man will never be a god;
tho he be, the Master’s jewel;
that many think otherwise; seems so odd;
physical man is a wastrel and a fool.
Only in death, may we follow the Master;
for, only He, knows where to go;
those who attempt it; bring about disaster;
for, we are just here, to grow.
God has been; where we’ve yet to be;
only He has the love to forgive;
God has seen; what we’ve yet to see;
and He hates the very life we live.
All of His followers; listen to commands;
and believe they know how to live.
each of us; has God’s blood on our hands;
but, would rather judge; than forgive.
Forgiveness is not some empty platitude;
we’re stubborn; unwilling to budge;
we’re like goats with a hateful attitude;
we can never be the jury or judge;
