Intermission

Intermission

It’s morning, now; a new dawn breaks;
time to get a fresh start;
the time to forget all past mistakes;
with love guiding the heart.

Life’s a continuous video game;
seemingly, never ending;
today and tomorrow are not the same;
a light, called time; blending.

Life is the story, which begs to be told;
where destiny and circumstance meet;
Wisdom comes slowly; as we grow old;
the fruit from its tree is sweet.

The stage is set; its backdrop in place;
every dawn; the curtain rises;
thought is the theater; devoid of space;
tho, never lacking surprises.

There’s a time to reap; and a time to sow;
a time to laugh; and to cry;
creation allowed for a time to grow;
and yet; there’s a time to die.

The Director maintains complete control;
the One who’s wearing the crown;
knowing all lines, and each actor’s role;
and when the curtain comes down.

Life is the pilgrimage; destined for glory;
earth’s theater holds its audition;
stay tuned, for the rest of the story;
death is just intermission.
