Information Overload

Is there such thing; as too much information;
much more than we’ll ever need?
We only need love and faith for salvation;
to assure that love will succeed.

Knowledge is wisdom’s right hand man;
tho, sometimes it brings illusions;
obedience; love; and faith in God’s plan;
brings forth all of life’s solutions.

More information may make us smart;
but wisdom is a far different story;
for, pride can destroy; and tear us apart;
torn by delusions of glory.

God knew the danger of too much information;
limiting the knowledge of the man;
God understood the danger of pride’s flirtation;
division became God’s plan.

It was imperative that man know the truth;
not that he become a know-it all;
faith was the substance that gave man proof;
but, pride comes before the fall.

In this world we seek all the answers;
but, lack the questions, to begin;
the truth can cure all of life’s cancers;
but, those answers, all lie within.

We usually think we lack information;
swimming in an ocean of truth;
what we still lack is self examination;
we need love and faith; not proof!
