Inconceivable Choices
Thoughts of the mind; seem like voices;
taking us to where we must go;
often, suggesting inconceivable choices;
hinting, we’re moving too slow.
Freedom of choice can become confusing;
when our choices are so unlimited;
choice is the difference; winning or losing;
lack of talent makes success prohibited.
Many of us dream of riches and fame;
believing success is meant to be;
some people think that life is a game;
and we can chose our destiny.
The Lord has made our choices for us;
by specific talents, he gave;
many can’t see the trees for the forest;
so failure is the road they pave.
Tho God has given us freedom of choice;
he expects our choices to be wise;
faith connects us to the Master’s voice;
don’t be deceived by demon’s lies.
There are things; I’m not gifted to do;
I must set such things aside;
the same can be said for all others too;
don’t be led by false pride.
Most futures, for us, are inconceivable;
miracles never come by our choice;
if you ever aspire, to do the unbelievable;
only listen for the Master’s voice.
