In; But Not Of It
In; But Not Of It
I live in a place called the Milky Way galaxy;
a system of stars and interstellar matter;
it was the place, where I was exiled to be;
not a place where my soul would rather.
All of life was created as a complexity;
energies of consciousness;
each one of us; a molecule of destiny;
created of love for righteousness.
I am in this realm; not totally of choice;
though my thoughts brought me here;
I am a laryngitis of the Master’s voice;
living in this kingdom of fear.
I was planted as a seed in a perfect garden;
meant to grow as love’s perfection;
now I am begging for the Master’s pardon;
the victim of my own indiscretion.
I was created, both to serve and to love;
I wasn’t created out of greed;
a servant must fit; like the Master’s glove;
in order that love succeed.
I am not the only one, in this situation;
you, also, are in this; with me;
we both are in search of salvation;
only God, can set us both free.
Although I find myself within this place;
I will never learn to truly love it;
this is a kingdom of tyranny and disgrace;
I am in it; but I am not of it.
