If you’re unable to love and be gracious;
you deserve to be left all alone.
If you don’t regard each life precious;
how can you claim you’re God’s own?
If you’d abuse any living being;
what evil is dwelling inside?
For anyone, the truth, not seeing,
will someday have no place to hide.
If you tend to say what’s on your mind;
and your mind is evil and vile;
expect to spend time with your own kind;
and to be there quite a while.
If you think everyone must think the same;
and are unable listen to another’s view;
then you, yourself, must share blame;
that others no longer listen to you;
If you can’t acknowledge power greater;
high above all earthly thought;
then in your mind, exists a crater;
from the absence of the truth He wrought.
Never believe that you are alone;
there’s a higher force deep inside,
If you try to mount your own throne,
consider all the others who’ve tried.
