I Love Happiness
I am in love with happiness;
it always makes me smile;
tears flow from a sweet caress;
for a kiss; I’d walk a mile.
Happiness makes my world seem new;
nothing could cause me to frown;
for many; happiness is long overdue;
their world appears upside down.
Happiness is the energy of eternal love;
it begins when we still are young;
happiness flows from heaven, above;
where everything had begun.
Some think happiness comes with victory;
from all the competitions of life;
but the greatest happiness; I can see;
is from love and the end of strife.
Happiness leads to lasting peace;
lacking the presence of greed;
a trace of joy is much like a feast;
fulfilling our inner need.
Happiness signals love in our heart;
a connection with God, above;
healing all things which tear us apart;
bondage is replaced with love.
Love makes all the world go round;
for all; who in love, abide.
In heaven, only love can be found;
all else; remains outside;
