I Am Life

I am the period at the end of a sentence;
a comma on the one millionth page.
How does punctuation require repentance;
and I, in the book of life, engage?

I am but a single grain of sand,
amongst the trillions on beaches.
Can such a grain answer demand;
how far is it;  Authority reaches?

I am a cell in the leaf of the tree;
a leaf that has dropped to the ground;
part of the death of that leaf is me;
and yet, I will still be around.

I am mere dust, blowing in the breeze;
no future destination in mind;
drifting downward to earth with ease;
and my reality;  been redefined.

I am lightning, come from a storm;
striking and killing a tree.
How can I; my energy reform;
that my Master won’t kill me?

Life is but a wave from reality’s ocean;
it becomes a part of everything it’s in;
whether plant life or man; or simply emotion;
it returns to; from where it begins

I am, in the beginning, a part of the whole;
in reality, it is where I am from;
a single grain of sand of the immortal soul;
which makes me a part of the One.
