May you bask in the warmth of His love;
His wisdom, lighting your path;
maintaining connection above;
and, never failing to laugh.
May the scent of the rose surround you;
always abiding in lovelyness;
no worries ever confound you;
ever mindful of His sweet caress.
May you always walk in peace;
no troubles to furrow your brow;
all your anger, quickly release;
and always live in the now.
May you ever forget all past;
for it’s simply a page that’s been turned;
not allowing frustration to last;
for all of life is a lesson to be learned.
May you love all those before you;
for they are your lessons to come;
and tolerate those who adore you;
for they are the battles you’ve won.
May the sun never set on your anger;
each day brings a new lesson to learn;
to dwell on other’s affronts, brings danger;
bridges weren’t built, to burn.
