He Who Is Within Me
We think we look at an outside world;
but, reality is not what we think;
within us; an entire universe, unfurled;
and an outside world becomes extinct.
What is the truth about a physical reality;
what is it all really about?
Is there such thing as a physical reality;
or are we inside it; looking out?
We’re hypnotized by a reality called space;
but there really isn’t a here, or a there;
many believe that they will see God’s face;
will they see; or their mind, be aware?
Most think we’re just a physical being;
all thoughts in our mind are ours;
but, the mind transcends what we are seeing;
in reality we’re merely God’s flowers.
Planted as a seed in a garden of thought;
within us the seed of the Master;
most truths are discerned; not taught;
we each become our own pastor.
Within us all, is the wisdom of the ages;
the thoughts and power of all who live;
knowledge comes forth as mind engages;
and gifts are received when we give.
He who is within me; is not in this world;
and here’s a thought you’ll think odd;
we will discover, when infinity is unfurled;
all eternity exists within God.
