Government Of Ants

A government is a monolith of powers;
immovable, implacable; without a soul;
a weed in the garden, chocking the flowers;
pure power becomes its primary role.

A noble faction once fashioned its birth;
planning it, to replace a tyrant king;
its never ending tentacles covered the earth;
no end would appear to the evil it’d bring.

Kings, very often, acted out of their pride;
becoming ruthless and out of control;
a government monolith is hollow, inside;
possessing no feelings or soul.

Government devolved to a giant ant hill;
claiming more of the garden, each day;
worker ants scurrying to enforce their will;
no garden flower could stand in their way.

The world is controlled by government ants;
many, of whom, were unelected;
and all populations must join in their dance;
non-compliance, no longer accepted.

Government eventually engulfed the garden;
even by death, imposing its will;
only loyal servants could obtain its pardon;
for tyranny was primed for the kill.

All God’s servants, love and follow the King;
but who, on earth, might that king be?
Only the Master, our true Lord, will bring;
truth and love, to the land of the free.
