Ghost

A ghost is a shadowy humanoid mist;
an energy being called the soul;
creating a body; the soul enlists;
making the physical be whole.

Once we see it; we hold our breath;
the ghost may be a lost husband or wife;
though it’s thought as a symbol of death;
the ghost is the living blueprint of life.

The ghost is simply the aura of the soul;
an energy seldom seen by man;
a puppeteer, who exerts all control;
making him do what he can.

Ghostly energies lend the soul’s  power;
to create physicality; they will control;
growing the embro hour on hour.
not even an x-ray can picture a soul.

The ghost carefully plans its new body to be;
closely following the Master’s plan;
transforming the embryo to someone like me;
and the soul, and the ghost; become man.

The ghostly energy both inhabits and surrounds;
granting it’s life to the puppet without strings;
the energy illusion of the body, confounds;
completing the physical illusion it brings.

You may think you eat, for the power it brings;
and your meal, alone, energizes;
that hot dog you ate is not pulling all strings;
you’re in for some energy surprises.

When, by death, God calls you home;
and the physical illusion is gone;
the ghost will leave; for heaven, to roam
and the ghost called the soul will live on.
