Certainty has very little patience;
in hesitance’s warm embrace;
there’s little time for reticence;
as tyranny stares in your face.
Frustration’s found at its height;
as much of majority is wrong;
mediocrity’s seldom found right;
and majority just goes along.
Great comfort is oft acquired;
even when most are wrong;
when seemingly inspired;
by society’s sing along.
There seems so very little harm;
so most just continue on;
no cause or thought of alarm;
freedom will soon be gone.
Wisdom often eludes the masses;
problems clouding their mind;
a contrived narrative often passes;
and truth, becomes redefined.
Truth sometimes has a shrill voice;
as tyranny stands outside waiting;
precious time left to make a choice;
while evil wastes time debating.
Freedom is very often forsaken;
it’s not for government to give;
by abtrusive power, it’s taken;
even the freedom to live.
