Foundations Of Contempt
Everything created; has a foundation;
even buildings, raised from the ground;
God’s kingdom, is the ultimate elevation;
where both love and peace are found.
Feelings, have their own foundations;
created with meticulous care;
sometimes concealed; until their revelations;
tho most still remain unaware.
What thoughts created feelings of contempt;
teaching God’s children to hate;
not even the most noble are found exempt;
most all of us easily relate.
Great structures require a solid foundation;
or else; they collapse to the ground;
tissues of lies; grants contempt’s elevation;
their echoes constantly resound.
Thoughts and emotions are fragile structures;
not always built on solid ground;
frustrations and hate cause their ruptures;
even for those, heaven bound.
Truth and love are the ultimate foundations;
it takes much to cause their demise;
pride and guilt lead to constant complications;
even hate, has love in its eyes.
Once we build up foundations of contempt;
both truth and love lose all their power;
no longer, from hate, is mankind exempt;
it even takes love to create a flower.
