Finishing Thoughts
Do you finish someone elses sentences;
often share the same thought;
your mind shares their mind’s premises;
your opinon is one they’ve brought?
Are our thoughts in league with another;
do we often reach the same conclusions;
do you feel like a twin to some brother;
usually finding the same solutions?
Often two people exhibit a sameness;
as though their minds are connected;
one of those two, shall remain nameless;
while the other becomes respected.
It has been said, two heads are better than one;
like two computers, sequenced together;
two having a connection; like father and son;
thinking alike forever.
How can we know; with whom we share thought;
such brings us to circumstance, most odd;
can we ever be sure those thoughts are what ought;
whether thoughts of devils or God?
Thoughts are mental images; floating in air;
attaching themselves to consciousness;
do those thoughts, themselves, really care;
whether they be evil, or righteousness?
How can we assess the author of our thought;
some come from below; others from above;
when you seek, by whom they were brought;
God finishes with thoughts of love.
