Figments Of The Mind

Most are concerned how life is designed;
tho fixated upon our body and face;
instead, we’re figments on God’s mind;
created by thought; in an absence of space.

Space, itself, is a mere figment of thought;
and time; is so, as well;
other creations; by the Master, wrought;
include vision, sound, and smell.

And let us not forget the creation of taste;
for it, chocolate cake was designed;
without which, all of creation’s a waste;
those figments of the Master’s mind.

Let us give thanks for all rivers and seas;
they are figments of God’s mind as well;
the images of life; bring us all to our knees;
tho man seems responsible for hell.

Let us also give thanks for all the seasons;
and also, for day and the night;
the Master, alone; knows all the reasons;
wisdom abides in his light.

Finally, we must add God’s love to the list;
it is often disclosed by my silly grin;
nothing exceeds that joy, when we’re kissed;
the smile is outside; the kiss, within.

I end this prayer with a special kiss of goodbye;
thankful for how my life was designed;
filled with love; with a tear of joy in each eye;
thank you God, for the figments of your mind.
