None are perfect; though expected to be;
and your critics will always be around;
for just as far as your eyes can see,
is where all your critics are found.
Tho we expect that most people are good;
we are often taken by surprise;
evil is lurking in nearly each neighborhood;
and the air is filled with their lies.
Evil comes wearing a winsome smile;
throwing us off our guard;
feigned innocence allows all truth, defile;
and honor become deeply scarred.
Most are concerned about what you say;
always expecting all words be kind;
mind; filled with thoughts, ticking away;
with all manner of evil in mind.
Evil hides; for he’s a coward, inside;
right hand, knows not; what left has done;
and no one knows when he will decide;
when, to evil, he will succumb.
Evil lurks, hiding, in the best of man;
supplanting his honor with pride;
surprising all, with his evil plan;
it didn’t take him long to decide.
Forces of evil, battled good, in each one;
temptation, forcing evil to make his demand;
souls have struggled, since time had begun;
we can’t allow evil to be in command.
