Eagle Eyes

We all associate the eyes with vision;
as though, with our eyes; we see;
they let in light; but make no decision;
of what reality happens to be.

Tigers use their eyes to locate their prey;
an eagle sees it all, from on high;
the tiger’s hesitation causes too much delay;
so the eagle swoops down from the sky,

Most think, with our eyes, we look out;
sizing up an outside material reality;
but that isn’t what vision is all about;
vision is actually proof of duality.

The eyes are really receptors of energy;
connected to consciousness, above;
bringing light in; so that God can see;
from his energy connection of love.

We’re told God’s eye is on the sparrow;
though no one has seen God’s face;
his energy links to our very bone marrow;
thoughts can take vision’s place.

Headlights are required, for driving at night;
darkness might cause a collision;
capturing the energies within their light;
since light is required for vision.

Eagles have incredible vision during the day;
but, at nighttime; there’s not enough light;
so. if we need vision; we need to pray;
only God’s vision, can see at night.
