Dreams Must Die

Dreams Must Die

Dreams are often our blueprints of life;
an alternative reality; we live in;
spending many, with a  husband or wife;
seeking to become forgiven.

Unhappy with the reality, we have;
our minds create yet another;
success is perceived as failure’s salve;
truth; we have yet to discover.

Some dreams are simply messages;
from God; or others, sourced;
dreams are traces of reality’s vestiges;
from all realities; divorced.

Dreams have meaning and purpose;
at least, to their creator;
understanding will eventually surface;
tho answers, often come later.

A single dream cannot last forever;
no matter how much we try;
linked to the Master’s thoughts, by tether;
all dreams are scheduled to die.

Dreams are energy’s living seeds;
planted in holy ground;
their energy supplies for all our needs;
for, dreams always abound.

Dreams are like fog; a haunting mist;
making us laugh or cry;
some are ones we long to have kissed;
instead; kiss all dreams goodbye.

Life is the dream that forever lasts;
its poignancy oft makes us cry;
but we can’t forever live in the past;
dreams are reborn when they die.
