Don’t Tell All You Know
Don’t tell others; everything you know;
your thoughts are always around;
wisdom insists knowledge slowly grow;
in eternity; it shall abound.
Everyone, wants to show what they know;
it’s impossible, for them, to keep still;
wisdom almost seems to naturally grow;
it was part of the Master’s will.
Knowledge must be handled with care;
we must not share it, all at one time;
if everyone shares all they know, everywhere;
there will be no more mountains to climb.
Everyone has a special talent, within;
a knowledge; that few others know;
it is a basis; from where we’re to begin;
a seed of wisdom; to sow.
Once our seed of knowledge has been sown;
it is no longer special or unique;
a gift you had; is by others, now known;
their only answer, is a critique.
Your special gift; you must never squander;
it has purpose; only you can fulfill;
without that gift; you’re destined to wander;
never fulfilling the Master’s will.
Don’t tell others, everything you know;
this advice, simply must be heeded;
once, they’ve surpassed you; and grow;
you will be no longer needed.
