Done In Darkness

Some of us do evil deeds in the dark;
for evil seems to thrive in the night.;
we somehow think we’re being smart;
hiding our evil deeds from the light.

We obviously know wrong from right;
or we wouldn’t feel the need to hide;
most all of the evil comes in the night;
because the dark won’t confide.

But the Master is aware of all creation;
with a direct connection to each mind;
he also understands all causation;
for, reality was, by him, defined.

Pride; the danger that comes in the light;
a precurser before any fall;
usually due to what’s done in the night;
for darkness covers one and all.

Evil, itself, has an arbitrary tone;
what is to one; is not, to another.
Why can’t man leave evil alone;
since, each neighbor is a brother?

Evil is not limited to darkness of night;
the sun, sometimes, shines on it too;
but, the Master isn’t limited to sight;
he can feel that evil in you.

To those who are evil: Beware!
For all must reap what he sows.
You may take your evil anywhere;
but even in darkness, God knows.
