Destiny Can Seem So Cruel
Destiny Can Seem So Cruel
Destiny seems to have a life of it’s own;
control over what’s to become;
it’s almost as tho our life is on loan;
till destiny decrees we succumb.
Destiny appears to exert special power;
as tho God decreed it his goal;
raining down on life; to make it flower;
sustaining the life of the soul.
Destiny often decides who wins, or loses;
a thought that seems rather odd.
If the winners are ones that destiny chooses;
does Destiny think he is god?
Unlike God, destiny can seem so cruel;
oblivious to those who he’s harming;
his tragedies strike both wise and the fool;
while, seeming to the rich, as charming.
Destiny allows that we all make choices;
determining what our future will be;
in the midst of our failures; he rejoices;
for Destiny saw what we didn’t see.
Destiny is usually quite misunderstood;
we can’t see the forrests; for the trees;
all that seems bad; is for our own good;
hardships send us all to our knees.
Tho it’s true that Destiny can seem so cruel;
there’s a truth that some may find odd;
the reason that Destiny is pemitted to rule;
Destiny is an angel of God.
