Consequential

On tiny hinges, swing big doors;;
nothing is ever incidental;
careless remarks, result in wars;
everything is consequential.

A tiny hornet can cause great pain;
tho its stinger is very small;
none will allow that stinger to remain;
pain gives its clarion call.

A strain of the tiny vocal cords;
makes the orator, unable to talk;
an ankle strain gives its rewards;
and the athlete’s unable to walk.

The most minuscule things in life;
seem to happen without intention;
even the very tinest mosquito bite;
commands our instant attention.

It takes very little to make a difference;
all true gifts come from above;
many choose to wallow in ignorance;
while the godly choose to love.

All around us, there are those in need;
even just a simple hug or a smile;
if only the Master’s voice we’ll heed;
you can be Love for a while.

Sometimes we feel we’re insignificant;
tho the sparrow has the Master’s eye;
we must choose to become magnificent;
then, like that sparrow, we’ll fly.
