Chapters Of The Mind
Consciousness is the book of life;
thoughts divided into chapters;
with pages of joy, anger, and strife;
in our dreams; we’re the actors.
We dream of seasons of physicality;
often, emotionally shaken;
death returns our thoughts to reality;
causing the soul to awaken.
Chapters draw us toward perfection;
a shore we will never reach;
our failures bring about rejection;
our Lord has much to teach.
We don’t just read the book of life;
instead; we actually live it;
we’re the sinners; within all strife;
requiring God to forgive it.
Consciousness evolves over seasons;
requiring both life and death;
only the Lord knows all the reasons;
awareness requires no breath.
Consciousness isn’t physical in nature;
physicality is only illusion;
words becoming flesh, is nomenclature;
God’s love; the only conclusion.
Every life has a season of death;
dreams; how life is designed;
consciousness has no last breath;
all, are chapters of the mind.
