Many wonder what God can forgive;
surely He has His limit.
He mustn’t allow evil to live;
for there is no love, within it.
Do rapists and molesters exceed his limit;
how could He possibly forgive?
Evil snuffs out lives; before they begin it:
will He allow killer doctors to live?
What about those who are abusive;
to the most helpless ones around;
Or bullies, who are cowardly obtrusive;
their arrogance knows no bounds?
Those who’ve been evil all their lives;
can He forgive them all too;
others who’ve beaten children and wives;
whose repentance is long overdue?
He who was beaten and nailed to a cross;
forgave them; granting them a pardon;
giving them faith; rather than loss;
and a place within His garden.
Many think the Master will simply give up;
with those who’ve not reconciled;
not giving honor and drinking from His cup.
At what point, will You give up Your child?
For, He who can destroy, not the sinner; but sin;
there’s nothing the Master’s Love cannot do;
He’ll forgive, forget, and heal from within;
the real question is : “Can You?”
