Beauty And The Beast

Within a creation of magnificent beauty;
resides the thoughts of an evil beast;
tho love and obedience; define our duty;
we allow evil to flourish and feast.

The beast was in the garden of our birth;
challenging the Master’s authority;
causing man to become banished to earth;
brandishing only a serpent’s seniority.

Only a portion of God’s power and love;
accompanied man to a kingdom, below;
from the perfection of heaven, above;
into a world of hail, floods, and snow.

Evil pre-existed the man in the garden;
originally; a cherub of the Master;
his actions, not forgivable, by pardon;
he caused creation’s disaster.

Life; the magnificent picture of love;
evil was the serpent within;
both cast down from a kingdom, above;
a new life, waiting to begin.

Consciousness brought light to begin;
Evil brought lies to expose;
Evil; destroyed, to the serpent’s chagrin;
becoming the thorn on the rose.

Beauty was the creation of glory;
Evil was the ghost of the beast;
Scriptures tell the rest of the story;
the earth was claimed by the least.
