Be Yourself

Why is it so many, want to switch places;
do they covet another’s occupation?
Or, perhaps they think if they trade faces;
it might improve their life station.

Would all of us like to change who we are;
are so many people dissatisfied?
Thinking ill of one’s self, seems so bizarre;
especially when others feel gratified.

Each one of us has a special role to fulfill;
without you, it won’t ever get done;
something sure to give the Master a thrill;
showing your love to the Father’s Son.

We all seek to do something so grand;
that nobody else can do;
but, what we don’t seem to understand;
our thoughts, may not be God’s view.

God doesn’t require that we climb a mountain;
or dwell in the valleys, below;
He simply asks that we return to love’s fountain;
for there’s no other place to go.

For life on earth is not about achievements;
we are, who the Master made us to be;
nor does He want us to have disagreements;
God wills that we honor Love’s decree.

The Kingdom of God is the realm of Perfection;
God’s will; implanted in each daughter and son;
no soul was ever meant to endure His rejection;
and all creation, shall come together as One.
