What happened to the power of our will;
we no longer make our own choices;
whenever we’re sick; most just take a pill;
obeying big pharma’s voices.
Throughout this life we’re led by another;
one seeking to control our minds;
eventually it becomes, the

When young; most of us sought identity;
someone that we most admired;
wishing there was someone else; we could be;
by others; we were inspired.
I pictured myself as a popular athlete;
loved and adored by one and all;
stature would make my life complete;
a popular gladiator;
Today I Lost A Friend
Today I lost a very special friend;
we shall no longer meet anymore;
a friend, on whom, I could depend;
death came and closed the door.
He was, by no means, a perfect man;
then, of course, neither am I;

We begin our lives; seeking the truth;
most of us, eager to learn;
as children, we demand to see proof;

Summer becomes the time for vacation;

I recall watching football, on tv with dad;
more than half a century ago;
memories of such times, make me sad;
of games played in wind and snow.
