Change is a constant of the human condition;
nothing ever remains the same;
change rarely occurs of our own volition;
sometimes destiny gets the blame.

I look back, in sadness, on yesterday;

I’m an errant piece of abandened scrap paper;
a breeze; taking me; where I must go;
constantly in search of the Master’s favor;

I grieve all sadness and sorrow, I’ve sown;
memories in my mind, for keeps;
all of my misdeeds, are mine, alone;

what forces are standing behind;

a remark we’ve grown tired of hearing;
