How Do I Define Love?
I’m led to describe the meaning of love;
how can feelings, be put in a word;
feelings and passions, come from above;
defining love seems rather absurd.
Modern life has reduced love to a cliché;
often expressed; when not meant;

Our world has become obsessed with normality;
defined by mathematical progressions;
variations are merely attributed to personality;
and status measured by possessions.
Although no two people are exactly the same;
we want to treat them as tho they are;
some spend their whole life, in search
The Depth Of Tears
Many have asked; “How deep is the ocean;”
as though the answer has relevance;
what does it have to do with time or motion;
their answers, always lack eloquence.
Their thoughts are premised upon physicality;
thinking everything has weight, and size;
but what is the size
One Step Above
Most think they live in a physical kingdom;
at least until an appointed time;
sent to live out their lifetime in freedom;
oblivious to the divine.
Physicality is merely an illusion of light;
very much akin to a dream;
where thoughts transitioned from night;

connecting life to the divine;
an eternal link meant to last forever;

becoming puffed up with envy, inside;
success draws others to wish they’d be there;
