For The Thirsty

Give drink to those who thirst;
for that drink is life, itself;
consider no stranger accursed;
we need look out for all else.

The drink they seek is not water;
it is the knowledge of life to begin;
a drink empowered by the Father;
and they’ll never thirst again.

Forgive

I’m living within a painting;
its the only place left to hide;
most suitable for framing;
with my soul residing inside.

It’s a most beautiful landscape;
a place where I’d love to be;
but now, it’s just an escape;
where I no longer have to be

Forget The Past

We must always forget the past;
that’s where all the garbage goes;
none of it’s meant to last;
like the snot on the end of your nose.

We take pictures so we’ll remember,
events from a long time ago;
but thoughts from a forgotten September,
are irrelevant

When I Was A Child

When I was a child; I spoke as such;
and my life was all about play.
Now I’m a man; resisting God’s touch;
while facing a brand new day.

Faced with a kingdom; blown all apart;
love is needed; this world, to repair;
each occupant mending a broken

Deception

We are, each of us, reality actors,
playing our roles on a stage;
coming to terms with all factors,
interchanging energies to engage.

Energies of thought created all;
devised by light force projection;
but, much of it we don’t recall;
so deep is this world’s deception.

Twenty years

Deeper Feelings

I felt my internal makeup, changing;
something happened I can’t explain;
thoughts of my soul; rearranging;
like being pelted by falling rain.

This “rain” was not even wet;
an energy; I don’t understand;
a higher realm of energy; beget;
adhering to Love’s demand.

I’d always felt

Discovery

All of this life is discovery;
finding out what we all are;
a part of it, spent in recovery;
but that only gets us so far.

We may think we’re all the same;
except, most are taller than you;
such thoughts do not deserve blame;
for we begin life

Destiny' Purpose

I once had a great love in my life;
one that would last forever;
I could envison her as my wife;
with nothing between us, ever.

But never was it meant to be;
we were too many years apart;
she was far too young for me;
so destiny withheld her
