I Wasn't Born A Failure

I wasn’t originally born a failure;
I worked so very hard to become;
nothing else matched my nature;
and so failure and I became one.

I’ve always tried to do my best;
but destiny stood in my way;
I thought I’d conquer reality’s test;
but destiny

Land Between Lives

There is a special land that exists;
an island, without sand or sea;
much like a repeating dream persists;
a place where all come to be.

It’s life’s theater’s backstage;
a cloud, floating in empty sky;
a pleasant dream, to engage;
the anteroom where you die.

It

Servants Of Greed

We are each a servant to someone;
a master that gives instructions;
one who commands, what’s to be done
often leading to corruptions.

Some of us serve the master called Pride;
its seems that we never have enough;
placing the interests of all others aside;

Reality's Tour

I’m on a majic carpet ride;
floating on a blanket of air;
taking me where thoughts decide;
my mind is taking me there.

My body is not really moving;
my mind is devoid of where;

not even seeming to care.

fearing the end before we begin;
it all seems a little

Reality's Battle

It seems we live life’s book in stages;
so much, ordained; before we begun;
each, only allotted so very few pages;
we act out our roles, till we’re done.

As I look back; all life seems unreal;
in life’s play, I’m seldom engaged;
it seems as

Searching For Truth

It’s seems as though I’ve lost all desire;
there’s nothing left to please me now;
at one time; all, was ablaze; on fire;
looking back; I don’t see why or how.

All my energy and focus were once clear;
my desire was driving me on;
but

The Neighbor

A law commands you to love your neighbor;
but exactly who might that be?
One might assume he’d be one in God’s favor;
one very much like me.

But we don’t know who’s in God’s favor;
and so, the question still stands;
we know so
