Some seem to have been born to lead;
while others are destined to follow;
a very few look out for others in need;
for, so many in this world are shallow.
Some follow, due to personal reasons;
while others, react out of intimidation;
nearly all follow, during some seasons;
for,
We’ve been told, we’ll reap what we sow;
pertaining to growing and then, harvest;
and, good sense, should allow that we know;
the dawn must pierce through the darkest.
Darkness is a staple in all growing seasons;
no life is born out of perfection;
we can’t spend
I have memories from many years ago;
sitting watching a motion picture;
buying candy to eat, during the show;
that candy, a weekly fixture.
However, I didn’t like the candy’s taste;
but, its box had a small toy, within;
it was merely a trinket; what a waste;
for
The Master warned us of pride and greed;
and all of the dangers they bring;
our souls were planted as God’s seed;
mere man is not fit to be king.
The kingdom below, where none can hide;
became a perfect, instructive environment;
through trial and error, each must decide;
We live our lives, seeking what comes next;
each of us, with a definition of success;
much that we do, brought about by pretext;
as we’re drawn by our desire to impress.
We all worry about things, done in the past;
some of them led to disaster.
Everything that
All lives consist of many hills and valleys;
metaphors for where struggles begin;
they’re pictures of life’s difficult back alleys;
for all struggles of life are born within.
All of life’s struggles exist for a reason;
there’s much to learn; much to know;
our time on
Exactly who is it, that we define as a fool;
does it relate to how much one knows;
or could it be that he’s thought as a tool;
because, what he’s told, is where he goes?
Fools are the two legged sheep in the pasture;
going wherever, or
I’ve stepped out, and up on a platform;
standing in front of an imposing crowd;
I feel that I can, no longer conform;
and must share my thoughts outloud;
Perhaps, I’m involved in a fool’s venture;
challenging others to think;
I might get a black eye, or
