Principles and reason have gone with the wind;
seems, they no longer exist;
personal opinions and mere whims descend;
while, goodbye to logic, is kissed.
They say, when older, we get more contrary;
and forgiveness, no longer lasts;
we’d much rather suffer a coronary;
than forget the wrongs of the past.
But, still it seems, that logic should apply;
even anger must have a limited season;
yet, the obvious truth, you cannot deny;
many get angry, without any reason.
All must trust in the truth as their guide;
with faith, one never need by wary;
rather than allowing a whim to decide;
demonstrating, they’re arbitrary.
Though we’ve all been granted free choice;
we mustn’t lose faith in who we’re to be;
for, we are the volume in the Master’s voice;
and the Father gave us the vision to see.
We are the children of our Lord, the King;
and, are given His quest to fulfill;
for He is Lord and Master of everything;
it’s not our place to arbitrate God’s will.
God’s will was ordained in heaven above;
all those opposed, need seek sanctuary;
for those, not basking in the Father’s love;
might well be defined as arbitrary.
