An Inconvenient Life
Sometimes; a circumstance becomes inconvenient;
affecting our evaluation of right and wrong;
disparate opinions seem to make it expedient;
and some are led, to just go along.
Sometimes; other people just get in our way;
wanting to prevent what we plan to do;
true people of faith; take the time to pray;
they adhere to a different view.
Often those people who’ve gotten in our way;
are evil people; consumed with pride;
still; life is considered precious; anyway;
and their right to live; can’t be denied.
A child in the womb; is an innocent life;
obviously most worthy of lenience;
innocence; slaughtered by a surgeon’s knife;
it’s guilt comes from inconvenience;
They refer to a life as a fetus or an embryo;
such caricatures seem rather odd;
they’re simply a baby; starting to grow;
created in the image of God.
All life was created of the Master’s will;
each child; the apple of his eye;
any child of God; man must not kill;
innocence wasn’t born to die.
Beware all who take an innocent life;
God won’t judge you lenient;
you’ve stabbed his soul with a knife;
no life is ever inconvenient.
