An Empty Soul

Every soul began its long journey at birth;
filled with the Master’s love;
thoughts became illusions of light on earth;
leaving behind a sepulchre, above.

The soul was a womb of God’s protection;
it’s thoughts were exiled below;
the soul was the seed, of God’s perfection;
all pride; within it; must go.

Thoughts became illusions of physical reality;
while the soul remained in the garden;
all of life developed in a heavenly duality;
only love could give life a pardon.

Thoughts created generations of life;
becoming fruitful to multiply;
each soul must have a man and wife;
physicality was destined to die.

Man struggled between love and lust;
then; woman followed his example;
corruption vacated any hope of trust;
with faith; only love was ample.

Demons taught the man how to fear;
only faith could teach us to trust;
through eyes of faith; God draws near;
and love overcomes lust.

Each cycle of life; must end in death;
and death carries out his role;
when life finally breathes its last breath
love return s us to our empty soul.
